Until this morning, I had only seen clips of this video released by the media. The local ABC news affiliate in Charleston had the longest clip but was cut off at around 17 minutes. This is the full 35 minutes of clear unhinged insanity.
I've seen a lot of crazy in my day. I've seen people on drugs, on bad acid trips, doing all kinds of crazy. I've seen hardened combat veterans crack after coming home. I've talked the knife out of one's hands before taking him to get help. I've seen schizo... But this might take the cake straight to the looney bin, especially for someone who wants to be governor, refuses to do the sane rational and reasonable thing and drop out of the race even after his own party chair makes the plea for him to do so and to go work on his mental health.
I don't share this to embarrass McLeod. I share it because he refuses to get out of the race which makes this 100 percent relevant news. Palmetto Examiner does hope and pray Mr. McLeod gets the help that he needs in order to return to the mentally sound.
